iPhone 5 review - Apple iPhone 5 upgrades

One of the more remarkable things about a new iPhone model is how your previous iPhone, which seemed perfectly smooth and sufficient, can suddenly feel slow, clunky and heavy. It is a arranged trick, one that Apple is making a bet on to help it ship new units to existing iPhone owners in the upcoming year.

Later the Apple press event, they were given some hands-on time with the upgraded iPhone 5, also as the iPod touch and iPod nano. Here are their first impressions of the taller, lighter iPhone 5, which we tested next to a crusty, pratically fossilied iPhone 4.

In the windowless hall at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts the iPhones and iPods were laid out on tables in the dim. Defensive Apple employees make sure the devices weren't taken, wiped off presses finger prints and visibly flinched every time someone dropped a phone (which happened quite a few times while we were there).

It just looks like the iPhone 4 and 4S, from the front of the iPhone 5. In fact it takes a moment to register that it's taller (holding it next to a previous iPhone model helps bring it home). Retina display found in the iPhone 4, iPhone 4S and now is the same, the new iPod Touch, but is now 4-inches instead of 3.5-inches.

When you pick it up, the phone is extremely light, and that weight is it most outstanding and memorable feature. The sensation is almost delicate in the hand, naked without some sort of protective case to prevent it from shattering in half. Of course, the iPhone is not nearly that breakable. The body is completely made out of the same aluminum found in MacBooks, as well as glass. It really feels expensive, unlike a plastic device that could break easily.

Review of iPhone 4 - Performance

PERFORMANCE

Inside of the iPhone 4 contains a serious punch. It also had the same Apple A4 chip that is used in iPad having 1 GHz processing power. iPhone 4 had also 512 MB of RAM, which is a big step up from the 256 MB found in the previous model which is iPhone 3GS and it brings better performance when performing multitask.





Apple OS - iOS 4
They recently launched an Apple's latest smartphone with an OS iOS4 which is their latest Operating System and it brings a new features, including the greater support for multitasking as I mentioned above. iPhones have permanently been able to run Apple's own applications in the background, but this new version provides third-party software. Essentially applications are paused and only special service tasks will be running in the background. This new iOS 4.0 OS lets you store application icons in folders, provides you an enhanced inbox and lets you use Bluetooth keyboards.


Steve Jobs recently revealed the iOS 4.0 to the world and that was April 2010 and an expected launch in June 2010. After the announcement they immediately released to registered iPhone developers to begin testing their application.  



Wireless Features

The iPhone 4 has a typical quad-band HSUPA chip for data and voice, 802.11n Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 2.1. There is a little modification in data-transfer speed in the iPhone 4 compared to the iPhone 3GS. This smartphone is experiencing signal issues when you hold it in your hands, especially in your left hand due to the iPhone's redesigned antenna. The conductivity of your palm is disturbing the two trim pieces where they meet and it results to signal drop. The signal returns to full strength until the phone is set down. A person that encountering this case isn’t having this issue, and it is generally doesn’t happen when you hold the phone in to your right hand, it happens only in left.

Reviews of iPhone 4 - Overview

DESIGN & BUILD
Apple Inc. gave the iPhone 4 a design renovation from the earlier 3GS version which is 0.37 inches thin only, compared to its predecessor which is 0.48 inches.

On the exterior of the iPhone 4 there is no plastic, and the standard silver bezel that was the trim to all previous iPhones is now gone. Front and back now is glass. Theoretically, the glass used is 30 times tougher than plastic and is equivalent to the strength of sapphire crystal.
An aluminum strip is between the two pieces of glass that wraps around the whole phone. They have this metal trim that serves as an antenna for 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, and Bluetooth, which helps signal significantly and it’s the coolest part.

Display
At first look up on the display of the iPhone 4, it is simply attractive. And this is one of the best improvements on the new model without a doubt. Its new screen resolution is 960 x 640 up from 480 x 320 on all earlier iPhones and iPod touches.

From the time when the screen didn't get any bigger, there is a lot more pixels per inch now 326 to be exact. Presently, on the market there is no other smartphone with a screen of this resolution. It is almost like a digital print to the human eye.
A matter of time before will be updated to support the resolution of all the current applications.. Developers should do extra little work to make this change. Different story will be complete if Apple increased the screen size of the iPhone, but I can’t even see that happening anytime soon.

Buttons and Controls
They have this standard “Home” button in the front of the iPhone 4 along with it is the proximity and ambient light sensor and a VGA front-facing camera is the biggest change with the previous models.

Outside of the device around it, you can find the standby button, the new microSIM slot (which has some improved benefits over the standard SIM card), a speaker, a microphone, another microphone (that helps remove background noise), a headphone jack, a silent toggle, and two separate volume buttons.

Review of iPhone 4s

iPhone 4s Review
If you are thinking of getting an iPhone for someone else or for yourself, then this is for you. It was released in October 2011 and over 4 million sales in the first three days. The demand has been out for a quality, which I hope to accomplish here.  Take a look , and I’ll go through it in more detail.

What's New in iPhone 4s
Let’s tackle by going through the  iPhone 4s vs the iPhone 4 . Following the iPad 2 , the Phone 4s now has the same ,award winning A5 ,Dual Core processor . The 8 MegaPixel Camera , has been re-engineered for great clarity and color balance. Laterally with the new sensors affect the gaming and multimedia experience on the iPhone 4s . You will be happy to know that, with this new design. Apple has finally put the excruciating antenna issue to rest. Lastly, we’ll examine probably the most talked about feature ,the “Siri” the voice controlled digital assistant . Siri has the exceptional ability to understand the meaning of what you say. Best of all , wording doesn’t matter and it has a ability for returning with extremely helpful information.

Hardware (Display, Processor and Sensor)
Display
First thing you probably notice when picking up the iPhone, is the Retina display. Its display measures 3.5 inches diagonally and boasts 960 X 640 resolution @326ppi , rendering the outright sharpest videos in the business . You can adorably enjoy watching your favorite HD movies , pictures and videos , in ultra high clarity and color. The iPhone 4s delivers color with stunning definition and brightness . The Multi-touch surface , empowers such radical advanced touch features , as pinch to zoom gestures . It is also coated front and back with a fingerprint resistant coating , to help avoid that greasy phone look we all hate.

Processor 
The extreme and highest technical advancement from the iPhone 4 to the new iPhone 4S , is the new A5 processor. It is Dual core 1GHz, excellent energy efficient and Apple spent a stated one billion USD to develop it. It allegedly renders up to 2x the processing power and up to 7x the graphics , meaning you can run even the most demanding games , more simultaneous apps . Finest of all , the battery life is much improved , over the earlier  model.

Sensors
Time now to review the mind-bending host of sensors ,which the games and applications take advantage, to really provide them that iPhone feel of smooth control and coolness. Unlike other comparable devices which only sense location of touch , the iPhone senses both location and intensity. It senses both where and how hard you touch the screen. The accelerometer was presented in the iPhone from the start and detects movement of the phone. They added the new 3-axes gyroscope that allows the iPhone know its tilt in 3-dimensional space.
This Infrared proximity sensor that's integrated with Siri permits the iPhone to know when the users face is near. An ambient light sensor enables to detect the level of lightning to  adjust the flash thru picture taking. The GPS chip allows application to have such features as geo-tagging and GPS tracking.
